Bill Clinton was born as William Jefferson Blythe IV on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas at the Julia Chester Hospital. His mother was Virginia Kelley who died on January 6, 1994 and his birth father was William Jefferson Blythe who died in a car accident before he was born on May 17, 1946. Bill Clinton was age 4 at his father's death. At this time, his mother married his stepfather, Roger Clinton who was an abusive alcoholic. He worked as a car salesman that died in 1968. Bill Clinton had 2 half-brothers: Roger Clinton and Leon Ritzenthaler who is a janitorial-service owner.

Bill Clinton was educated at Georgetown University, Oxford University, and Yale Law School in 1970. While at Georgetown University, Bill's classmates elected him freshman and sophomore class president. While at Yale Law School Bill Clinton met Hillary Rodham. Together, in 1972, they worked together on the failed presidential campaign of George McGovern. On October 11, 1975 Bill Clinton married Hillary Rodham who is now a U.S. senator. Together, Bill and Hillary had a daughter on February 20, 1980. Her name is Chelsea Victoria Clinton. He then served as Governor of Arkansas for 2 terms: (1.) From 1979 to 1981 (2.) From 1983 to 1992. He was the youngest attorney general in Arkansas history. In October of 1991, Bill Clinton formally announced his bid as a Democrat for the U.S. presidency.

Bill then became the 42nd President of the United States in 1993. He served for 2 terms: (1.) From 1993 to 1997 (2.) From 1997 to 2001. During his terms in office, Bill achieved several significant acts including: (1.) The ratification of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1993 between the United States, Canada, and Mexico. (2.) He signed the Brady Bill, imposing a waiting period and stiffer licensing fees for handgun purchases. (3.) He hosted negotiations that led to the Dayton peace accord, an agreement to end warfare between factions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. (4.) He initiated sweeping welfare reform in 1996 that included a provision allowing states to set their own welfare guidelines. (5.) He appointed more women to cabinet positions than any other president. In his leisure, Clinton plays the saxophone. In June of 1992 Clinton donned a pair of sunglasses as he played the sax on Arsenio Hall's syndicated talk show.
